Hi everyone, my name is Gaby, I'm a mindfulness coach and a small business owner of Gaby's Light. I'm also a Mental, Spiritual, and Self Love advocate. I believe that everything our soul desires is already within us, all we have to do is learn how to quiet our minds from the outside world. I embarked on my spiritual and healing journey in 2016. At that time, I was in the middle of one of my transitions in life. Through that time, I opened up myself to greater awareness and consciousness. I have always felt deeply deeply connected to source, my ancestors, and to higher consciousness. I decided to put together a short list of books that have helped me through out the years. I hope y'all find them as helpful as I did. Remember that you are not alone through out your journey and our planet has been advancing towards higher consciousness over the last few years. We are at the point of a rebirth as a society and it's up to us to continue to heal ourselves and Mother Earth.
I remember this book found it's way into my life when I didn't even know I needed attitudinal healing. This book has set the stage for my healing journey. Gerald G. Jampolsky is someone extremely wise. He mentions in his book that there are only two types of emotions that could be evoked, which is Love or Fear. When we have emotions of fear, we may have them because love is absent from our life in one way or another. Gerald G. Jampolsky was influenced by A Course in Miracles. Overall, if you're looking for somewhere to begin your own healing journey and don't know where, then I recommend you start here.
The Seat of the Soul is a great book that teaches you how to honor all parts of yourself and the outside world. Gary Zukav does a great job at explaining topics such as Evolution, Karma, and Reverence. He shares important morals and principals through out the book that could be beneficial. For example, he talks about Karma and how Karma could show up in our everyday lives and why. This book is for you if you are looking for wisdom and guidance.
The tittle says it all, "A Simple Process to Transform Confusion into clarity and Pain into Peace".The Warrior Heart Practice by Heatherash Amara is one of those self help books that will always keep you going back to the exercises. Heatherash Amara is an author that has been influenced by Don Miguel's Ruiz work. Through her book, she gives useful skills and tools to use to get to the root of problems that may be coming up. Heatherash is about empowering yourself by learning up the clutter in your life that bogs you down.
The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz is a classic. The wisdom he brought into my life was inspiration, divine, and transcendental. He connects to indigenous wisdom of the Toltecs and he brings it into our modern society. The four agreements he talks about is be impeccable with word, don't take anything personally, Don't make assumptions, and always try your best. The Four Agreements is an easy read and will leave wisdom that will open doors for you.
A Mind of Your Own by, the author, Kelly Brogan is one of those books that will have you say "wow". She is a psychiatrist that challenges the pharmaceutical company and encourages women to reclaim their Mental Health by making adjustments to their life styles. A Mind of Your Own is so informative and helpful; it taught me how to challenge my own beliefs about Mental Health and how I could have a better relationship with myself.
